Don’t be fooled by Peak’s simple premise; surmounting each mountain is a real challenge, especially if you have friends trying to “help” you along. Luckily, the Peak system requirements are so low that your average gaming PC or laptop should have no issues getting the game to run, even at its best.
Peak could be one of the best co-op PC games of all time on account of its simple yet difficult to master mechanics that will see you to the top of each rotating map or plummeting to your death, screaming in rage. From my experience, friends are what make the game shine in the same vein that Repo and Lethal Company shine. You won’t need the best gaming PC from our buying guide to get the game running, either, but you may need almost as much patience as you’d need to overcome Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy.
