Nacon Revosim RS Pure bundle review – a sensational sim racing wheel debut

The mid-range sim racing wheel world has gone through a revolution in the last five years, with a host of more affordable direct drive models arriving and totally shaking up the market. The Revosim RS Pure bundle is the newest entrant to the crowded field, taking on the entrenched brands and driving the cost of entry down even further. This has put a technology that used to be for hardcore sim racers only into more hands than ever before.

Nacon first announced its sim racing focused Revosim brand in 2024. Under that umbrella, the RS Pure bundle is now finally available, after much anticipation. So can a company best known for its controllers and other peripherals really compete with its more experienced sim racing rivals? With a place on our best racing wheel guide at stake, we’re about to find out.

The RS Pure bundle includes a 9Nm direct drive wheel base, a steering wheel, and pedal set for the competitive price of $799.90. This puts it firmly in the power range to compete with Thrustmaster and Logitech direct drive offerings, while undercutting their price significantly. It also compares favorably in price and power with bundles available from Moza and Fanatec. Nonetheless, with such a crowded field, the RS Pure will need to be special to stand out against those more well-known and trusted brands.

To truly test its capabilities we’ve used the RS Pure in a number of sim racing titles, from track racers like F1 25 to off-roaders like EA Sports WRC. Read in on to see how it stacks up.[site_jumplinks]
