Monster Hunter’s most underrated spinoff series is back

Everybody has their own favourite Monster Hunter game. A lot of people would say World. A few might say Rise. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is a classic. There’s even someone out there who’s favourite is Wilds. Anyone? No? Alas. However, there’s one spinoff series that’s rarely included in these conversations. Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection was announced today, and promises Pokemon-esque gameplay like its predecessors. With turn-based combat, story-led RPG mechanics, and – of course – monsters to hunt, it’s high time you gave the Monster Hunter Stories series a chance.
