The complete 1.0 version of Frosthaven is here. Developer Snapshot Games’ official Steam announcement confirms that the finished version of the game launches on October 15, 2026, taking Frosthaven out of Steam Early Access after a year-long run.

According to the game’s Steam page, the full 1.0 release brings a haul of new content while including everything introduced during the game’s Early Access journey, delivering the complete FROSTHAVEN digital experience in one package.

Frosthaven is the digital adaptation of Isaac Childres’ FROSTHAVEN board game, and it comes to PC as a dark fantasy tactical RPG that serves as a spiritual successor to Gloomhaven. The game is developed by Snapshot Games and published by Arc Games, and it supports both single-player play and 2-4 player online co-op.

Publisher Arc Games and developer Snapshot Games officially announced that the digital adaptation of the acclaimed board game by Isaac Childres and Cephalofair Games would launch on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on October 15, 2026, and today’s 1.0 release delivers on that date. The tabletop source material also carries a reputation as a spiritual successor to Gloomhaven, and that pedigree is written all over the campaign.

For newcomers, the Steam page notes that difficulty modes tailored to different skill levels make the unforgiving northern frontier approachable, while veterans of the original board game or Gloomhaven will find the deep, tactical gameplay familiar. Careful resource management and thoughtful party-building remain at the heart of the experience as players push through the campaign and their outpost grows.

With the jump to version 1.0, Frosthaven now offers the full digital board game adaptation in its complete form. The game is available now on its Steam store page, and the launch details were shared in Snapshot Games’ official announcement.

Whether you have been following the Early Access roadmap since day one or are just now hearing about the project, there has never been a better moment to set out for the frozen north and see everything Frosthaven has to offer.
