Relic Entertainment has officially pulled back the curtain on the next major chapter of Company of Heroes 3, announcing Operation Torch, a narrative-driven campaign DLC that arrives on November 25, 2026.

Operation Torch transports players to North Africa in 1942, where the American army lands in the Mediterranean untested and unprepared. Rather than a glorious parade, the campaign unfolds as a gritty push through daring landings, costly defeats and hard-won victories, following inexperienced troops as they learn the brutal realities of desert warfare against veteran opponents.

Relic describes a campaign built around mastering unique tactical challenges, underpinned by persistent progression that shapes your army over time. Decisions made across the fight feed into a fighting force that evolves from mission to mission, gradually turning green recruits into a battle-hardened unit capable of changing the course of the war.

The DLC already has a dedicated Steam page open for wishlists, listed as coming soon alongside the base game. Relic has not yet announced pricing for the expansion, noting only that more details are on the way. A first trailer is live on YouTube for anyone wanting an early look at the North African theatre, complete with period-accurate hardware and the series’ trademark squad-based tactics.

The base game, Company of Heroes 3, remains available on Steam and covers the wider Mediterranean theatre of World War II. Operation Torch zeroes in on the 1942 American landings in North Africa, a turning point that brought the United States Army into the regional fight against the Axis and gave the series a fresh perspective on combined-arms warfare in the desert.

Operation Torch arrives as Company of Heroes 3 continues to expand, following the acclaimed dynamic campaign and the recent 3.0 update. Newcomers can pick up the base game on Steam and catch up before the new campaign kicks off. With the November 25 release date now locked in, Relic should share firmer details on mission structure and content in the weeks ahead, so strategy fans will want to keep the announcement on their radar.
