Developer and publisher Saber Interactive, working alongside Boss Team Games, recently dropped a Gameplay Overview Trailer detailing the survival-horror action game’s combat, exploration, and puzzle systems ahead of its October 8 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam.
Players take on the role of Aidan, who must wield the Genesis Configuration puzzle box to fight his way through Hell’s Labyrinth and rescue his girlfriend Sunny from the depraved Cenobites. The trailer showcases brutal first-person melee and ranged combat, with weapons ranging from hard-hitting melee tools to explosive firearms. Players will scavenge for ammo, lay traps, barter for upgrades, and use the puzzle box itself to manipulate the environment and solve puzzles in the underworld. The Labyrinth is filled with cultist worshippers, infernal monstrosities, and the iconic Cenobites u2014 including Pinhead, Chatterer, and Butterball.
Hellraiser: Revival features a new original story written in collaboration with Clive Barker, drawing from the atmosphere and mythos of the first two Hellraiser films.
