Fields of Mistria Leaves Early Access Today With Marriage, Children, and Full Story Completion

Fields of Mistria 1.0 launch promotional art featuring a pastoral farm scene with characters and animals

NPC Studio’s farming and life sim RPG Fields of Mistria has officially left Early Access on Steam, arriving at version 1.0 exactly two years after its initial Early Access debut on August 5, 2024. The full release delivers on the features fans have been waiting for, including marriage, children, and a completable storyline.

The 1.0 update raises NPC heart caps to 10 and adds proposal and wedding events for every romanceable character. Children are now part of the picture, giving long-term players a genuine reason to revisit their save files. The Saturday Market also expands with two new vendor stalls from Stillwell and Zorel, rounding out the game’s weekly shopping rotation.

Dungeon fans get additional quests and rewards in the mines, while the town repair storyline can finally be completed. Renown levels now extend to 100, with extra request board tasks and museum sets to chase. The skill system receives new perks, and a fresh batch of furniture, cosmetics, and mount skins rounds out the customization options.

Perhaps the most significant addition for a wider audience is localization. Version 1.0 ships with beta support for seven languages: Simplified and Traditional Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Spanish. NPC Studio says further language waves are planned post-launch.

The developer emphasized that 1.0 is not the end of the road. The team intends to continue updating the game beyond the full release, building on the foundation that Early Access players helped shape over the past two years. Bug reporting and feedback tools remain available for anyone who spots issues in the new content.

Fields of Mistria has earned a reputation as one of the coziest farming sims on Steam, blending Stardew Valley-style crop management with magic, exploration, and a cast of memorable characters. If you’ve been holding off until the full version, now is the time to dive in.
