Dead by Daylight’s Chucky Chapter is leaving storefronts. Behaviour Interactive’s official Dead by Daylight account announced that the Chucky Chapter and its associated content will be removed from in-game and first-party stores on November 24, 2026, closing the book on the Chapter’s retail availability across every platform where the game is sold.
The announcement is worth reading in full, and it is posted directly by the studio’s verified account: the official Dead by Daylight statement on the Chucky Chapter removal. It lays out both the removal date and what players can expect in the weeks leading up to it.
Nothing already owned disappears. Any Chucky content unlocked before the removal date will remain available to use in-game, so players who have already picked up the Chapter keep everything they have earned or purchased. The change affects store listings going forward, not the inventories of players who own the content today.
For everyone else, there is a final chance to buy in. To mark the character’s time in the game, the Chapter’s content will be on sale on all platforms starting Monday, October 26, ahead of the store removal. That sale runs into the November 24 delisting, so the window between the discount and the removal date is the last opportunity to add the Chapter to a library before it disappears from in-game and first-party storefronts.
Newcomers have a second reason to open the store page at the same time. Dead by Daylight on Steam, listed under App ID 381210, currently shows the base game at 60% off in a special promotion running until November 2, 2026. With the Chucky sale starting October 26 and the base game discount ending November 2, the two offers overlap for a few days, giving players a compact stretch to catch up before the November 24 removal.
Dead by Daylight has kept the messaging simple: buy before the dates, keep what you unlock, and expect the Chucky Chapter to vanish from storefronts on November 24, 2026. Players who want the Chapter should watch the in-game store and first-party storefronts on Monday, October 26, when the farewell sale begins across all platforms.
