The brilliant RE2 and RE4 remakes seem to get endless praise, but the 2020 Resident Evil 3 remake doesn’t get enough love. Sure, those two entries have Leon in the pilot’s seat, and they’re also classics, but I think the third game is just as good. The Resident Evil 3 remake may remove some vital parts of the original, but it’s still a solid retelling of Jill Valentine’s survival in Raccoon City, and right now, Fanatical has the game even cheaper than the current Steam sale, giving you the perfect excuse to finally try it.
