I’ve got a lot riding on Fable. I’m far more interested in a fantasy world where your actions impact NPCs’ perceptions of you than GTA 6’s modern interpretation of a similar core mechanic. Listen, I’d rather brew a poisonous potion for an annoying gnome than brandish a semi-automatic rifle at a police officer – shoot me. With an arcane bolt, obviously. When rumors suggested that Fable may have been internally delayed, I was a bit gutted. But the game’s social media accounts seem to be doubling down on its fall release date, and there may be hope yet.
