An alleged Warframe data breach has been confirmed as a false report by developer Digital Extremes. A post suggested that hacked data for more than 3,000,000 user records had been uploaded to a cybercrime forum, including details such as user IDs, email addresses, and IP addresses. However, community director Megan Everett states that, following an investigation, the studio has confirmed that this is “repackaged information” from a breach that took place close to the free Steam game’s original launch.
